"Kekkaishi" means "Kekkai" master. "Kekkai" is a barrier against evil spirits. This comic's main character shuts out evil spirits as well as everything.
This comic has an ancient Japanese-style. A main character is a high-shool boy. He comes from a family of ancient extraction. He and his family protect the important land.
They battle against various enemies. They have a longstanding feud with enemies. Enemies hatch out many conspiracies.
